Kanoko Gold

Kensington Walk Fabrics FabricZOF0058-01

Kanoko Gold combines a muted ochre-gold linear pattern with a warm cream ground. Repeating angular forms create a rhythmic, architectural effect, while the softly textured surface keeps the colourway from appearing flat.

About this fabric

The design is formed from repeated triangular and stepped shapes, outlined by closely spaced ochre lines that catch the light against the cream background. Its 55cm vertical repeat and 69cm horizontal repeat give the pattern a clearly measured, medium-scale presence. Weighing 287 gsm, the fabric has enough substance for upholstery as well as drapery, with a 139.5cm usable width. The supplied specification records 67 threads per centimetre, and no performance features are noted.

How to use it

Use the warm, earthy gold as an accent on a statement chair, bench or full-length curtain, pairing it with chalky creams, natural timber and deeper olive or brown tones. The cream ground helps the geometric pattern sit comfortably in a light, layered room.

The warm ochre-gold geometry brings depth to cream upholstery, curtains and coordinating schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
