About this fabric

This 236 gsm fabric has a 140 cm usable width, making the large scenic composition suitable for both drapery and considered upholstery applications. The pattern repeats over 124 cm vertically and 140 cm horizontally, allowing the cascading mountains, pine-like trees and boats to be positioned as part of the overall design. Pale blue-grey washes sit beneath deeper indigo foliage and branches, creating visible depth without a strong, saturated block of colour. Floating Mountains Indigo is supplied in a standard 40 m length.

How to use it

Use the cool indigo and blue-grey tones for full-height curtains where the mountain scene can unfold across the width, or frame a section on a statement chair or upholstered bench. Pair it with chalky whites, misty blue paints and natural timber to reinforce the colourway’s serene, ink-washed character.

A cool, atmospheric scenic design for full-length curtains, occasional upholstery or a statement chair.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
