About this fabric

The pattern combines loose slate-blue and grey foliage with warm taupe-stone circular fruit motifs, plus occasional soft brown leaves, on a cream background. Its muted, chalky colour balance feels cooler and quieter than a strongly saturated botanical, while the dense fruit markings provide visual texture. With a usable width of 138 cm and a 79 cm vertical repeat by 67.5 cm horizontal repeat, the design has a considered, medium-scale rhythm. The 166 gsm cloth has 94 threads per cm, giving it a versatile mid-weight presence suitable for upholstery and drapery.

How to use it

Use Acer Charcoal/Stone on a relaxed occasional chair, Roman blind or full-length curtain where its slate-blue foliage can sit against warm ivory, pale timber and natural stone. Echo the round stone motifs with textured cushions or accessories in taupe and sand.

The cool cream ground and muted slate-blue foliage suit relaxed rooms with warm stone and natural wood accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
