About this fabric

This Zoffany Domino Velvets colourway has a substantial 569 gsm construction and a 138 cm usable width, making it particularly suited to upholstery. Its warm gold surface shifts between muted honey, pale champagne and deeper ochre-gold as the pile catches the light. The irregular vertical columns create movement without becoming sharply geometric, while the looped motifs add a tactile, almost cellular detail. The pattern repeats every 33 cm vertically and 45 cm horizontally, and the fabric specification records 85 threads per cm.

How to use it

Use Nyala Gold on a statement armchair, sofa or headboard where its warm metallic depth can glow against cream walls, walnut timber and tobacco or olive accents. The alternating vertical bands can also help give upholstered forms a quietly tailored, decorative finish.

Pair its antique-gold depth with warm neutrals, dark timber and softly contrasting textures.
