About this fabric

This heavy Zoffany velvet has a deep mole ground that reads as charcoal-brown in the photograph, while each paisley is picked out with intricate muted taupe and olive detailing. The 639 gsm weight and 145 threads per cm give it a dense, substantial handle suited to upholstery. Its pattern repeats every 40.5 cm vertically and 35 cm horizontally, providing a clear but comfortably measured rhythm across a chair, sofa or headboard. The usable width is 140 cm, supplied in a standard 25 m length.

How to use it

Use this dark, cool-leaning mole colourway on a reading chair, sofa or upholstered bed, pairing it with warm timber, aged brass and plain textiles in stone or oatmeal. Its low-contrast paisleys bring depth without making a room feel brightly patterned.
