About this fabric

This substantial velvet weighs 639 gsm and has a 140 cm usable width, making it particularly well suited to upholstery. The visible pattern is a repeating paisley, with the cream-ivory outlines and internal tracery standing out softly from the warm pale taupe ground rather than creating a sharp contrast. Its vertical repeat is 40.5 cm and horizontal repeat is 35 cm, giving the medium-scale motifs a measured, orderly rhythm. At 145 threads per centimetre, the closely worked surface reads as dense and tactile, with the pile subtly catching the light across the linen-toned colourway.

How to use it

Use Pale Linen to upholster a sculptural sofa, occasional chair or padded headboard in a calm, warm-neutral scheme. Pair its pale taupe base with chalky ivory, natural timber and softly aged brass so the paisley detail adds pattern without overpowering the room.
