About this fabric

This plain velvet has a softly brushed surface that shifts from creamy sand to a slightly deeper beige where the nap changes direction. At 540 gsm, it has the substantial weight expected of a velvet suitable for upholstered furniture. The 141 cm usable width provides a practical working area for upholstery projects, while the 0 cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats confirm that there is no motif to match. In the swatch, the even pile and restrained sheen keep the colour refined rather than glossy.

How to use it

Use this warm sand colour on a sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its pale beige tone can brighten the room without feeling stark. Pair it with natural timber, chalky walls and deeper brown or olive accents to bring out the velvet’s soft tonal depth.
