About this fabric

The Sky colourway reads as a light powder blue, with cooler blue depth visible where the velvet nap turns away from the light. There is no printed motif or repeat; the interest comes from the fine, even pile and the way the surface shifts from misty highlights to deeper blue shading. At 540 gsm, it has the substantial visual presence expected of a furnishing velvet for upholstery. The fabric has a 141 cm usable width, making it practical for planning upholstered pieces while retaining the clean look of this plain colourway.

How to use it

Pair this cool sky blue with chalky whites, pale timber and soft grey for an airy scheme, or use it on a statement armchair to introduce a restrained wash of colour. The changing nap makes the blue especially effective on curved or softly tailored upholstery.
