About this fabric

This plain velvet has a substantial 540 gsm weight and a useable width of 141 cm, making it well suited to upholstery. Its even surface has no pattern repeat, allowing the saturated teal colour and directional pile to provide the visual interest. The folded swatch shows a softly brushed texture, with the raised foreground catching a cool, muted sheen while the recessed areas appear darker and more atmospheric. The result is a polished, enveloping colourway rather than a bright or tropical teal.

How to use it

Use the deep blue-green tone on a sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its plush pile can read as both colour and texture. Pair it with warm timber, aged brass or pale stone to balance the cool depth of the teal.
