About this fabric

This plain velvet has a dense 540gsm handle, making it well suited to upholstery rather than lightweight window treatments. Its 141cm usable width provides practical coverage for seating projects. With no pattern repeat horizontally or vertically, the uninterrupted rust surface can be oriented freely across cushions, chairs and sofas. The nap creates visible tonal shifts across the folds, moving from burnished terracotta highlights to dusky red-brown depth.

How to use it

Pair this warm rust colourway with smoked timber, aged brass and creamy neutrals for a grounded, enveloping scheme. Its red-brown depth is especially effective on a statement armchair or tailored sofa where the changing nap can be seen.
