About this fabric

This plain velvet has a substantial 540gsm weight and a useable width of 141cm, making it well suited to upholstery. The Peony colour reads as warm pink rather than candy-bright, with a muted depth that gives the surface a refined, tactile presence. Light skims the pile in broad highlights across the fold, while the lower face appears denser and more saturated. With a 0cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeat, it can be positioned without matching a motif.

How to use it

Pair Peony with warm ivory, putty or soft brown on a statement chair, headboard or sofa. Its softly saturated pink tone also works as a gentle focal colour against pale, quiet interiors.
