About this fabric

Woven at 519 gsm, this substantial Harlequin Performance Boucle is well suited to upholstery, with an ample 138 cm usable width. The surface is visually plain but richly mottled, combining pale blush, warm beige and subtly rosy flecks in a softly nubby weave. With 84 threads per centimetre and no vertical or horizontal pattern repeat, it offers a continuous, low-key texture without a directional motif. In changing light, the pink-beige tone reads quietly warm and tactile, making the colourway feel relaxed rather than highly decorative.

How to use it

Use Islay Positano on a sofa, armchair or upholstered headboard where its muted blush tone can soften cream, oatmeal and warm timber surroundings. Pair it with chalky neutrals and brushed brass for a gentle, understated scheme, or introduce deeper terracotta accents to draw out its rosy warmth.
