About this fabric

The fabric’s dense boucle weave is visibly nubby and softly clouded, with warm beige, stone and subtle grey tones mingling across the surface. Its 519gsm weight gives Islay Mineral a substantial upholstery feel, while the 84 threads per centimetre contribute to the closely textured appearance. The 138cm usable width is suited to covering upholstered pieces with an uninterrupted plain surface. There is no listed vertical or horizontal pattern repeat, so the mottled texture can be positioned freely.

How to use it

Use Islay Mineral on a sofa, armchair or footstool where its quiet mineral taupe can soften stronger colours and natural timber. Pair it with chalky off-whites, warm stone, pale oak or muted grey-green accents to bring out the cool and warm flecks in the boucle.
