About this fabric

The close bouclé texture is visibly mottled rather than patterned, with fine pale and ochre fibres creating a gently irregular surface across the swatch. At 519gsm, it has a substantial woven presence suited to upholstery, while the 138cm usable width supports practical cutting on furniture. The specification lists 84 threads per centimetre, reinforcing the fabric’s closely constructed appearance. With a 0cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeat, this colourway can be oriented without matching a repeating motif.

How to use it

Use Islay Ochre on a sofa, footstool or occasional chair where its warm honeyed tone can sit alongside natural timber, cream linen and muted olive. The softly flecked surface adds texture without introducing a separate graphic pattern.

Use this warm ochre-gold texture to bring softly layered colour to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
