About this fabric

The 519gsm construction gives Islay Ivory a substantial, upholstery-led feel, while the visible nubby weave adds depth without introducing a directional motif. Its cream tone is warm rather than stark white, with muted taupe variation catching across the surface in a softly irregular way. The fabric has a usable width of 138 cm and is catalogued with 84 threads per centimetre. Both the vertical and horizontal pattern repeats are supplied as 0 cm, consistent with this all-over textured appearance.

How to use it

Use Islay Ivory to soften a contemporary sofa, headboard or occasional chair, pairing its warm cream base with natural timber, pale stone and muted taupe accents. The subtle flecking also works well with richer brown or caramel details for added warmth.
