About this fabric

The close nubby weave creates a fine, subtly irregular texture across the fabric, with the pale sand shade catching the light in a gently varied way. Its supplied 519 gsm weight gives Islay Sand a substantial handle suited to upholstery. The 138 cm usable width is paired with zero vertical and horizontal pattern repeat, so there is no motif to match when cutting. An 84 threads-per-cm specification accompanies the even-looking woven surface.

How to use it

Use Islay Sand on a sofa, armchair or upholstered headboard where its warm pale-beige tone can soften stronger timber, stone or painted finishes. Pair it with ivory, oatmeal and natural wood for a calm tonal scheme, or add muted olive and terracotta accents for contrast.
