Gigi Oatmeal

Purity Fabric Edit FabricHAF0082-01

Gigi Oatmeal combines a warm, softly flecked oatmeal ground with pale ivory teardrop motifs arranged in neat vertical rows. The woven surface gives the colourway a quiet, tactile depth rather than a flat beige appearance.

About this fabric

The warm oatmeal background reads as a muted beige with a gentle natural warmth, while the ivory motifs provide a crisp but softened contrast. Each stylised teardrop has a fine internal leaf-like pattern and a narrow trailing stem, creating an elongated rhythm across the cloth. At 394gsm, with 26.8 threads per centimetre, this is a substantial woven fabric suited to upholstery. Its 31cm vertical and 26cm horizontal pattern repeats make the motif clearly present without overwhelming the neutral colourway.

How to use it

Use Gigi Oatmeal on a tailored armchair, headboard or sofa where its warm neutral ground can sit alongside linen, pale timber and chalky ivory accents. The ivory teardrops also work well against deeper taupe or muted olive for added definition.

Pair the warm oatmeal ground with ivory, natural wood and softly contrasting neutral upholstery for a calm, tailored scheme.

Pairs well with

Gigi Oatmeal is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
