Cestino

Solana FabricF8101

Cestino in Solana reads as a softly structured neutral, with a small-scale woven grid in warm oatmeal beige, ivory and taupe-grey. The pattern feels crisp and orderly, but the textured surface keeps it from looking flat.

About this fabric

Cestino (pattern F8101) is a substantial 100% rPO fabric made in Turkey, with a 30,000 rub test and a width of 141cm (55½). The weave shows a compact geometric repeat of raised cream blocks linked by slender taupe and grey threads, giving the cloth a subtle basketed rhythm. Its 510gsm weight and firm handle make it feel robust and tailored, while the warm beige ground softens the contrast for an easy, lived-in look. It is supplied with UK BS5852 cigarette upholstery performance and can be FR treated for upholstery or BS5867 Part 2 Type B curtains.

How to use it

Use this colourway on a sofa, banquette or feature armchair where the small-scale pattern can read as texture rather than statement. Pair it with oak, chalky paint colours and linen whites to keep the warm beige tone calm and refined.

A neat, textured neutral that brings quiet pattern without overpowering a room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
