Carnegie Natural

Animal Kingdom Fabric

Carnegie Natural shows the Animal Kingdom design in a quiet, warm beige taupe with a low-contrast animal motif that sits gently across the surface. The overall effect is calm and versatile rather than bold, with the pattern only becoming apparent as light moves over it.

About this fabric

Woven in 78% polyester and 22% cotton, this 140cm-wide fabric has a practical, soft-hand feel suited to everyday interiors. The repeat is 0cm vertically x 4.3cm horizontally, which helps the pattern read as a subtle, closely worked surface rather than a strong statement print. In this Natural colourway, the tone is a muted beige-taupe with a faintly sandy cast, giving the design warmth without looking yellow or overly brown. The small-scale animal pattern blends into the ground colour, so the fabric feels understated and easy to live with. Care instructions are BQTV<.

How to use it

Use Carnegie Natural on an armchair, banquette or cushions when you want texture and pattern without high contrast. Its warm neutral base pairs especially well with oak, stone, biscuit linens and darker accents.

A soft neutral that layers easily with timber, leather and natural linens.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Carnegie Natural without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
