About this fabric
This colourway sits between biscuit and pale taupe, with a gentle warmth rather than a bright yellow cast. The close velvet pile creates delicate light-and-dark movement across the otherwise unpatterned surface, while the supplied 0cm vertical and horizontal repeats confirm its plain construction. At 556gsm and 134cm wide, it has the substantial handle expected of a furnishing velvet for upholstery. The supplied 51.5 threads per cm further records its densely made surface.
How to use it
Use Fired Biscuit on a sofa, occasional chair or upholstered headboard where its warm neutral tone can soften darker wood, stone and muted olive accents. Its low-contrast surface also works well alongside patterned cushions without competing with them.
Its warm biscuit-beige nap brings gentle depth to upholstered seating, headboards and footstools.

Pairs well with
Wardle Velvet Fired Biscuit is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
