Wardle Velvet Citrus Stone
Wardle Velvets VelvetMOF0191-08
Wardle Velvet Citrus Stone has a quiet citrus-olive tone with a fine, even velvet surface. Its muted yellow-green cast shifts softly across the nap, giving the plain cloth gentle depth rather than a bright, saturated finish.

About this fabric
This Morris & Co. velvet is a plain, unpatterned cloth with no vertical or horizontal pattern repeat. The close, fine surface texture is visibly soft and subtly directional, while the 556gsm weight gives the fabric a dense, substantial appearance suited to upholstery. It has a 134cm usable width, a standard length of 35m and 51.5 threads per centimetre. In this colourway, the stone-like olive base tempers the citrus note, creating a warm, understated green-yellow effect.
How to use it
Use Citrus Stone on a deep sofa, occasional chair or ottoman where its muted olive-yellow tone can bring warmth without dominating the room. Pair it with chalky neutrals, natural timber and darker olive accents to draw out its subdued depth.
A dense, softly lustrous velvet in a muted citrus-olive shade for adding warm colour to upholstered seating.

Pairs well with
Wardle Velvet Citrus Stone is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
