The Unfinished Works Fabrics FabricMOF0246-02
Chamomile Bayleaf pairs a warm chamomile-beige ground with an intricate bayleaf-green botanical drawing. The softly aged palette gives the repeating floral a calm, mellow depth.

About this fabric
Fine curling stems, serrated leaves and rounded flower heads form a dense all-over pattern, with the olive linework standing clearly against the lighter ground. The 300gsm cloth and visible fine surface texture give the design a composed, substantial presence without making the colourway feel heavy. With 24 threads per cm, a 137.2cm usable width and a 91.4cm vertical by 68.6cm horizontal repeat, it offers useful dimensions for planning the placement of the repeated motifs. The low-contrast chamomile and olive combination keeps the detailed pattern readable while retaining a softened, timeworn character.
How to use it
Use Chamomile Bayleaf on an occasional chair, headboard or relaxed pair of curtains where its muted olive foliage can sit against warm stone, natural timber and other chamomile-toned neutrals. The restrained contrast is especially effective when the pattern is allowed to cover a larger surface without introducing a brighter accent colour.
The muted olive and chamomile palette brings a softly historic botanical character to upholstery, curtains and blinds.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Chamomile Bayleaf without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
