Chamomile Russet

The Unfinished Works Fabrics FabricMOF0246-01

Chamomile Russet pairs a soft cream ground with warm russet foliage and rounded rosette blooms. The dense botanical drawing has a gentle, sun-warmed character, with the pale ground keeping the overall impression light.

About this fabric

Fine curling stems, pointed leaves and repeated circular flowers fill the surface in a closely arranged botanical pattern. The russet is warm and muted rather than bright, shifting from terracotta through soft brown against the chamomile-toned cream ground. With a 91.4cm vertical repeat and 68.6cm horizontal repeat, the design has a clearly visible rhythm while remaining richly detailed across the 137.2cm usable width. The fabric weighs 300gsm and is specified at 24 threads per cm, giving it a substantial mid-weight presence for upholstery or drapery.

How to use it

Use the warm russet flowers to bring depth to a cream, oatmeal or softly painted room, particularly on a reading chair, bench or full-length curtains. Its pale ground and intricate drawing can balance darker timber, aged brass and terracotta accents without making the room feel heavy.

A warm, heritage botanical with cream and russet tones that suits both upholstery and drapery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Chamomile Russet without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
