About this fabric

This heavy 695gsm velvet shows a dense arrangement of stylised flowers, scrolling foliage and central medallion forms in closely related terracotta and brown tones. The ornate pattern has a 66.5cm vertical repeat and 67cm horizontal repeat, giving the design a substantial, clearly readable scale on upholstery. At 134.5cm usable width, it provides practical coverage while retaining the visual richness of the design. The supplied construction records 72 threads per cm, supporting the finely detailed appearance visible across the swatch.

How to use it

Use this warm russet colourway on a statement armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard, where its deep terracotta warmth can balance cream, tobacco and aged timber tones. Keep surrounding textiles quieter so the symmetrical floral damask remains the focal point.

A richly patterned velvet for statement upholstery, especially where its warm russet tone can add depth.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Sunflower Caffoy Velvet Redhouse without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
