About this fabric

This Morris & Co. velvet has a substantial 695gsm weight and a 134.5cm usable width, making it particularly well suited to upholstery. The olive colour shifts between earthy green and darker moss where the pile catches or absorbs the light, giving the surface a quiet, antique richness. Its detailed botanical repeat measures 66.5cm vertically by 67cm horizontally, with symmetrical floral forms emerging through the tonal weave. A 72-threads-per-cm construction adds to the fabric’s dense, closely worked appearance.

How to use it

Use this deep olive colourway on a buttoned armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard where its velvet pile can reveal subtle changes in tone. Pair it with aged timber, warm brass and muted stone shades to draw out the botanical pattern without competing with its rich green depth.
