About this fabric

The close-up shows a plain fabric with a soft, brushed pile and subtle directional variation across its surface rather than a printed motif. Its moss-green tone is dark, earthy and slightly muted, with olive warmth emerging where the light catches the raised areas. Broad folds reveal a substantial-looking handle suited to upholstery, while the surface sheen keeps the shade from appearing flat. No composition, width, rub-test or other performance specification has been supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Pair this deep moss olive with aged timber, smoked metal and warm neutral upholstery for a grounded, enveloping scheme. It would be particularly effective on a statement armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard, where the folds and pile can show its changing tonal depth.

Use this deep moss olive on upholstered seating where its plush surface and softly shifting sheen can add depth.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
