Clivedon Fabric

Clivedon Document is a richly detailed floral fabric in a muted olive palette, with oversized blooms and curling foliage picked out in terracotta, cream and sage. Its softly aged colouring gives the pattern a collected, traditional character.

About this fabric

The close-up shows a substantial-looking textile surface with a gently textured woven appearance. An olive and moss-green ground carries large stylised flowers, curling leaves and paisley-like forms in faded terracotta, dusty rose, parchment cream and muted beige. The low-saturation palette feels warm and antique rather than bright, while the varied tonal detail gives the pattern considerable depth. No composition, width or rub-test data has been supplied for this listing.

How to use it

Use this colourway on a statement armchair, sofa or footstool where its olive ground can anchor a room. Echo the faded terracotta and parchment tones through plain cushions, warm wood and softly aged metal finishes.

Use this richly coloured olive floral on traditional upholstery, balanced with warm neutrals, aged timber and terracotta accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
