About this fabric

The close weave combines olive, brown and slightly lighter threads, creating a restrained crosshatch texture rather than a flat block colour. Its softly crinkled folds suggest a fluid, mid-weight cloth with a relaxed hand. The darker olive shading in the creases gives this colourway an earthy, quietly atmospheric quality, while raised areas catch the light with a dry, tactile finish. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Chiltern Olive to temper a room with warm stone, walnut or aged brass, where its muted green-brown depth can sit comfortably against natural materials. Its fluid appearance also suits relaxed curtains, while the woven texture gives upholstered seating a quietly informal character.

A softly textured olive weave that brings grounded depth to upholstery, cushions or relaxed window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
