About this fabric

The colour reads as a muted oat beige, warming slightly where the fabric gathers and deepening towards a soft taupe in shadow. A fine, lightly irregular cross-hatched weave gives the plain surface visible texture without a printed motif. In the photograph, the cloth falls into fluid folds, while the raised areas catch the light more softly than the recessed creases. This relaxed, finely textured appearance makes the colour particularly suited to understated drapery schemes.

How to use it

Use Chiltern Oat for full-length curtains or relaxed blinds where its warm oat tone can soften a room without becoming strongly yellow. Pair it with chalky neutrals, pale timber and taupe upholstery to echo the variation visible in its woven surface.
