About this fabric

This Sherwood Collection fabric from Ashley Wilde is woven in 80% polyester and 20% cotton, and it is specified for drapes only. At 137cm wide, with a 34cm vertical repeat and 35cm horizontal repeat, the pattern reads as a substantial traditional damask with clear symmetry. The visible surface has a textured, cloth-like finish rather than a glossy sheen, which suits the grounded olive palette. Its 501 grams per linear metre weight gives the cloth a reassuring body for window dressing, while the 366 grams per square metre measurement supports that fuller drape.

How to use it

Use Wisley Pine for lined curtains in a library, dining room or period sitting room where the dark olive tone can sit comfortably with wood, brass and leather. It will work especially well with warm neutrals, aged oak and other heritage greens.
