Elliot Cedar

Elliot FabricL9393-08

Elliot Cedar is a dark, muted olive with a soft, heathered surface that reads understated rather than bright. The finish looks gently mottled in the light, giving the colourway depth without any obvious pattern.

About this fabric

This Larsen fabric has a restrained plain appearance with a finely textured face that feels crisp yet softened by the cotton, viscose and linen blend. At approximately 130cm wide, it offers a practical cloth for a range of interior uses, while the 63% cotton, 20% viscose, 15% linen and 2% polyacrylic composition suggests a balanced hand and a natural-looking drape. The visible colour is a deep cedar-leaning olive with cool, smoky undertones, so it sits darker and more grounded than a fresh green. With no repeat to interrupt the surface, the effect is calm and tonal, suiting pieces where the fabric itself needs to provide quiet richness.

How to use it

Use this deep olive on tailored seating, dining chairs or relaxed curtains where the colour can anchor warmer woods and aged brass. It pairs especially well with tan leather, chalky neutrals and softer botanical greens.

A grounded olive shade that works neatly across upholstery and drapery schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
