About this fabric

This colourway combines a soft golden-beige base with a richer antique gold motif, giving the damask a warm, sunlit look rather than a brassy finish. The design is woven for drapes only, and the 137cm width makes it practical for fuller window treatments. Its 80% polyester and 20% cotton composition, along with a substantial 501 grams per linear metre, gives the cloth a weighty, composed handle that suits formal hanging. The 34cm vertical repeat and 35cm horizontal repeat emphasise the scale of the pattern, which feels suitably traditional and decorative. Made in India, it has the tailored, heritage character expected from a statement curtain fabric.

How to use it

Use Wisley Gold where you want warmth and pattern to frame a room, especially in rooms with mahogany, walnut or painted trim. It works particularly well with olive, burgundy or deep brown upholstery, letting the gold tones lift the scheme without looking bright.
