Twilight Gold

Gustav FabricJ892F-05

Twilight Gold is a glowing antique-gold colourway with a softly mottled surface and a subtle low sheen. The finish catches the light in fine, vertical speckling, giving the cloth depth rather than a flat metallic look.

About this fabric

This Gustav fabric from Jane Churchill is composed of 77% Polyester and 23% Viscose, with an approximate width of 140cm and a vertical repeat of 26cm / horizontal repeat of 35cm. In Twilight Gold, the ground reads as a warm, burnished gold with olive-amber undertones, lifted by pale, gleaming striations that add movement across the surface. The overall effect is textured and slightly weathered, but still polished enough to feel refined. With no performance features noted, it is a decorative fabric best chosen for its colour, handle and visual richness rather than technical specification.

How to use it

Use this shade where you want warmth without brightness: it brings depth to upholstered pieces, especially in rooms with walnut, oak or dark painted wood. It also makes elegant curtains or soft furnishings, where the gold tone can pick up and soften daylight.

A rich, warm gold with a softly lustrous surface that works beautifully across upholstery and curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
