Twilight Paprika

Gustav FabricJ892F-13

Twilight Paprika reads as a deep, warm terracotta with a subtle paprika glow and a softly mottled surface. The finish catches the light unevenly, giving the colour extra depth from darker rusted edges to lighter, sun-baked highlights.

About this fabric

From the Gustav collection by Jane Churchill, Twilight Paprika is a fabric woven in 77% polyester and 23% viscose, with a width of approximately 140cm and a pattern repeat of V 26cm / H 35cm approx. The surface has a quiet textured grain rather than a flat solid, so the colour feels layered and lived-in. In this colourway the red-orange base leans earthy rather than bright, with burnt terracotta shadows and paprika warmth that become richer as the light falls across it. The overall impression is smart and tactile, with enough visual movement to keep large areas from looking flat.

How to use it

Use Twilight Paprika to bring warmth to a neutral scheme, especially alongside taupe, oatmeal or aged brass. Its dusky terracotta depth also works well with walnut woods and muted green accents for a grounded, layered look.

A warm paprika tone that brings depth to upholstery and hangs softly at the window.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
