About this fabric

Skylon Pink/Grey from the Gustav collection by Jane Churchill is a fabric with a large repeat of approximately V 85cm and H 70cm, and a width of approximately 140cm. The weave reads as softly textured rather than crisp, with brushed-looking bands and mottled marks that create depth across the surface. This colourway is the lightest, most delicate side of the design, where blush pink and warm grey sit over gentle stone and faded sage notes. Its 69% polyester, 30% viscose and 1% polyamide composition gives it a practical upholstery-and-drapery balance, while the overall effect remains refined and slightly weathered. Care code Q 8 < T 3 and fire code K are supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

This muted pink-grey works well as a soft statement on a sofa, armchair or curtains, especially in rooms with pale oak, plaster pink or chalky neutrals. It brings pattern without heaviness, so it can lift a calm scheme without overpowering it.

Use for a softly patterned statement that feels calm rather than overtly decorative.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
