Simbar Copper

Cleo FabricJ0247-06

Simbar Copper shows a lively pebble-like abstract pattern in warm copper, clay and chalky ivory. The small-scale design feels animated and textural, with the lighter marks lifting across the darker ground.

About this fabric

This colourway of Simbar has a distinctly warm, earthy character, with copper and terracotta tones broken up by soft ivory highlights and touches of taupe-grey. The irregular, spotted motif gives the fabric a lively surface that reads modern rather than floral or traditional. Woven in 85% viscose and 15% polyester, it has a smooth, polished look that suits its smart, decorative feel. The fabric is approximately 140cm wide, with a vertical repeat of 30cm and horizontal repeat of 35cm, giving the pattern enough scale for upholstery panels or flowing drapery. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact cloth.

How to use it

The copper ground works beautifully with oak, walnut and aged brass, where its warmth feels grounded and cohesive. Pair it with plaster pink, chalk white or deep olive for a layered scheme that keeps the pattern lively.

Use this lively copper ground to bring warmth and movement to tailored seating or statement curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Simbar Copper without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
