Mateus Copper

Vasco FabricL9513-07

Mateus Copper shows a rich, even terracotta-copper tone with a subtle dry texture across the surface. The close weave gives it a tailored, grounded look rather than a glossy finish.

About this fabric

This fabric is woven in a 44% wool, 28% cotton, 19% linen and 9% polyamide blend, which gives the surface its softly nubbled, matte hand and the restrained texture visible in the swatch. The colour reads as a warm copper terracotta, with brown and rust notes that soften the shade and keep it from looking brash. With a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx and a width of 133cm approx, it presents as a plain upholstery textile with a clean, continuous appearance. The Q 8 + T 3 care code and √BM fire code add practical detail for contract and residential use.

How to use it

Use Mateus Copper on a compact armchair, banquette or headboard where the warm rust-copper tone can anchor the room. It pairs especially well with oatmeal, aged brass and smoked timber, letting the colour feel rich rather than overly bright.

A warm copper tone that brings depth to tailored upholstery and relaxed scheme layers.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
