Taiki Brick Red

Maru Fabric001

Taiki Brick Red shows a lively striped pattern built from terracotta-red bands, softened by pale pink ground and sharp pale blue accents. The overall effect is warm, rhythmic and distinctly handcrafted.

About this fabric

This Linwood Maru cushion fabric comes as size 40cm x 55cm and is supplied in Taiki Brick Red with the same colour on the reverse. The visible weave has a dry, woven texture that suits an upholstery-style decorative textile, while the repeat alternates between solid brick-red columns and lighter bands edged with blue and mustard motifs. The palette is grounded in warm clay and brick tones, with the blush background lifting the design so it feels less dense than a plain red. It is finished as a cushion product with duck feathers filling, and the stated care is dry clean only. C non-FR means domestic upholstery must receive an FR treatment if used in that way.

How to use it

Use this brick-red colourway as a statement cushion against oatmeal, tan leather or pale timber for a warm, collected look. The blue zigzag edges add just enough contrast to keep earthy schemes feeling crisp.

Pair with warm woods and natural linens to let the terracotta stripes glow.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
