Inca Brick

Inca Fabric

Inca Brick pairs a warm burnt-brick ground with a crisp, repeating diamond lattice in pale blue and cream. The pattern feels bold and graphic, but the softened surface keeps the overall look grounded.

About this fabric

This colourway from Linwood’s Inca collection is a woven fabric with a distinctly earthy terracotta base, lifted by cool blue-and-cream chevrons that form a large geometric repeat. The 137cm width and approximate 46.5cm vertical pattern repeat make it well suited to planned upholstery projects where the motif needs to sit cleanly across larger pieces. Its 100000 Martindale rub test, contract/general domestic upholstery grade and BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1 compliance support hard-wearing use, while the Eco SR finish adds stain resistance. The composition blends 60% polyester, 28% recycled polyester, 8% acrylic and 4% viscose for a practical cloth with a softly textured handle.

How to use it

Use Inca Brick on a sofa or banquette where the terracotta ground can warm stone, oak or tan leather. The pale blue detailing also gives it enough contrast to sit neatly with off-whites and cooler neutrals.

A warm terracotta ground with crisp pale blue lattice lines that works well across statement upholstery and soft furnishings.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Inca Brick without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
