About this fabric

Woven in 38% viscose, 38% cotton, 18% linen and 6% polyester, this fabric has the substance and handle suited to fixed upholstery. The 30,000 Martindale rub test and Contract, General Domestic upholstery grade support use on hardworking seating, while the A fire rating conforms to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1. Visually, Redwood reads as a warm red clay with coppery and cinnamon undertones, lifted by tiny lighter flecks across the weave. The semi-plain pattern and textured yarns create a dry, organic finish that softens the stronger colour. At 137cm wide and available by the metre, it is a practical choice when you want colour with depth rather than a flat solid.

How to use it

Use Redwood on an occasional chair, banquette or ottoman where its earthy warmth can anchor the room. It pairs especially well with oak, aged brass, and muted plaster or stone tones.
