Loxley Oatmeal

Loxley Fabric

Loxley Oatmeal is a softly textured neutral with a warm, creamy oatmeal cast and a quietly nubby surface. Its small, woven structure gives the cloth a calm, tailored look that feels natural rather than flat.

About this fabric

Woven in 38% Viscose, 38% Cotton, 18% Linen and 6% Polyester, Loxley Oatmeal has the feel of a grounded upholstery textile with a dry, breathable hand and a subtle sheen from the viscose content. The 137cm width and fixed upholstery use make it well suited to chairs, sofas and banquettes, while the 30,000 Martindale rub test supports everyday contract and general domestic use. Visually, the colourway reads as a warm oatmeal cream with honeyed beige flecks, so the surface appears softly mottled and light-catching without looking shiny. It is rated A for BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1 and should be dry cleaned.

How to use it

Use this colourway on curved seating, dining chairs or a pared-back ottoman where its warm cream tone can soften timber, stone and darker joinery. It pairs especially well with natural linens, pale oak and muted tan accents.

A warm neutral that brings a soft, tailored feel to upholstered pieces.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
