Omega Velvet 4 Velvet001

Omega Velvet 4 Chalk is a serene, light cream velvet with a soft, even pile and a gentle matte-lustre finish. Its pale chalk tone reads clean and calm, with just enough warmth to stop it feeling stark.

About this fabric

This colourway shows a smooth plain velvet surface in a restrained chalk cream that catches the light with a subtle, rounded sheen rather than a high gloss. Woven from 60% Polyester, 28% Recycled Polyester, 8% Acrylic and 4% Viscose, it combines a plush look with practical strength. The fabric is 137cm wide and suitable for Curtains, Loose Cover Upholstery and Fixed Upholstery, with a 100,000 Martindale rub test and upholstery grade of Contract and General Domestic. It is also FR rated to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1, making it a dependable choice for busy interiors. Plain in pattern and quietly luminous in tone, it works as a fresh neutral that softens a room without adding visual weight.

How to use it

Use this chalk shade to lift larger sofas, tailored loose covers or full-height drapes where you want a bright but gentle finish. It pairs especially well with oak, putty greys and muted taupes for a calm, layered scheme.

A clean, versatile cream velvet that keeps schemes light while adding a refined sheen.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
