About this fabric

This plain velvet from Linwood’s Omega IV collection is composed of 60% Polyester, 28% Recycled Polyester, 8% Acrylic and 4% Viscose, and it is suitable for curtains, loose cover upholstery and fixed upholstery. With a 137cm width and a 100,000 Martindale rub test, it is built for both general domestic and contract settings. The cerulean shade is cool and saturated rather than navy or teal, with a soft depth that catches the light without looking glossy. Its smooth velvet pile gives the colour a refined, even finish that works well on tailored seating and elegant window treatments.

How to use it

Use this cerulean on a clean-lined armchair or ottoman to introduce a vivid blue focal point. It also makes a striking curtain colour when paired with chalk white, pale oak or soft grey interiors.
