About this fabric

This colourway in Linwood’s Omega IV collection is a plain velvet with a smooth, closely piled finish that catches the light softly across the surface. It is specified for curtains, loose cover upholstery and fixed upholstery, with a robust 100,000 Martindale rub test and contract/general domestic upholstery grade. The composition of 60% polyester, 28% recycled polyester, 8% acrylic and 4% viscose gives it a stable, tailored handle, while the 137cm width makes it practical for both furniture and drapery projects. After care is straightforward too: dry clean, or wash with care at 30°C, with no ironing or tumble drying.

How to use it

Use Caribbean on a sofa, ottoman or dining chair to bring a jewel-toned, grounded feel into the room. It pairs especially well with warm oak, pale linen and brass, where the teal depth can read sophisticated rather than stark.

A rich teal velvet that adds depth and polish to tailored seating or statement cushions.
