About this fabric
This Brass colourway sits between antique gold and olive-tinged ochre, with a soft depth that changes gently as the pile catches the light. It is a plain velvet with a calm, even finish and a luxe hand, making the colour feel richer rather than bright. The fabric is composed of 60% Polyester, 28% Recycled Polyester, 8% Acrylic and 4% Viscose, and it is specified for Curtains, Loose Cover Upholstery and Fixed Upholstery. With a 100,000 Martindale rub test, contract and general domestic upholstery grading, and BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1 compliance, it is a strong choice for hardworking seating as well as decorative use.
How to use it
Pair this brass velvet with dark timber, tobacco leather and deep bottle-green accents for a layered, classic scheme. It also works well against warm neutrals where its golden undertone can bring depth without feeling brash.
Use as a polished neutral with walnut woods and deep green accents.

Pairs well with
Omega Velvet 4 Brass is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
