Tome in Curry is a warm, curry-gold fabric with a softly striated surface and a gentle woven sheen. The colour feels golden and earthy rather than bright, giving the cloth a grounded, luminous look.

About this fabric

This Larsen fabric is woven in a composition of 61% viscose, 32% cotton and 7% polyester, with a width of approximately 138cm and a repeat of V 28cm / H 34cm approx. The surface shows fine, horizontal ribbing that creates a subtle stripe effect across the cloth, with light catching on the raised threads to give the gold tone extra depth. In Curry, the shade reads as a mellow mustard-gold with warm brown undertones, so it feels richer and more muted than a fresh yellow. The overall effect is smart and textured, with enough body and visual interest to suit both upholstery and drapery use.

How to use it

Use this curry gold to warm walnut, smoked oak or bronze finishes, where the textured weave can add depth without overpowering the room. It also works well as a grounded accent against chalky neutrals or olive-leaning greens.

A warm curry gold that works beautifully when you want texture and richness without a heavy look.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Tome Curry without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
