About this fabric

This colourway has an even, light beige ground warmed by a faint clay undertone, so it feels gentler than a stark stone or grey neutral. The weave shows a delicate linen-like texture with soft vertical striations that catch the light rather than reflect it. Made from 70% Cotton, 19% Polyester and 11% Linen, the cloth has a balanced natural handle that suits relaxed interiors. With a width of approx. 140cm and a repeat of V 98cm / H 23cm approx, it is a practical decorative textile for schemes that want texture without visual noise.

How to use it

Use Lago Clay for pared-back upholstery, roman blinds or full-length curtains where you want a warm neutral to sit quietly against timber and plaster. Its soft clay tone pairs especially well with chalk white, pale oak and muted taupe.

A quiet neutral that works beautifully on tailored upholstery or understated curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
