Namibia Clay
Tana FabricL9307-02
Namibia Clay reads as a quiet, warm beige with a faint clay undertone and a softly textured geometric surface. The small square repeat gives the fabric a calm, ordered look without feeling stark.

About this fabric
This colourway in Tana is a gentle, light clay-beige with a creamy cast that stays warm rather than yellow. The woven geometric check is small and subtle, with the pattern sitting just a shade off the ground so it catches the light softly instead of contrasting sharply. Made from 84% linen and 16% polyester, it has the natural, slightly slubby character you would expect from linen, balanced by a cleaner finish from the polyester blend. The fabric is 280cm wide, which makes it especially practical for wider furnishings and full-length drapery drops, and the repeat is approximately V 16cm / H 16cm. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code Z complete the practical specification.
How to use it
Use Namibia Clay where you want a gentle, sun-washed neutral with texture rather than a flat plain. It pairs neatly with oak, chalky whites and muted greens, and the soft geometric weave keeps large upholstered pieces or curtains feeling tailored.
A warm neutral that works beautifully on tailored upholstery or airy curtains.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Namibia Clay without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
