Makena Clay
Tana FabricL9296-02
Makena Clay reads as a quiet, sun-warmed stripe with fine vertical texture and narrow tonal bands running through the cloth. The overall effect is light and airy, with just enough depth in the clay accents to give the design structure.

About this fabric
This Tana fabric by Larsen is woven in 57% cotton and 43% linen, giving it a natural matte handle and a softly textured surface that suits both curtains and upholstery. The colourway pairs a pale linen ground with slender clay-beige stripes, so the pattern feels restrained rather than bold. Its 310cm approximate width makes it especially practical for wide drapery drops or large-scale furnishing work, while the 3cm vertical repeat keeps the stripe neatly ordered. The Q 8 + T 3 care code and Z fire code are supplied for this exact fabric.
How to use it
Use Makena Clay where you want warmth without heavy colour: it works well with oak, plaster pinks, and chalky neutrals. The pale ground and muted clay lines keep it calm enough for layered schemes, but the stripe still gives a room a tailored, considered finish.
A soft, neutral stripe that brings warmth without overpowering a room.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Makena Clay without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.
Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
