About this fabric

Shown here in Vail Clay, this Alta fabric by Larsen has a muted clay-beige tone that sits between biscuit and soft stone, with a subtle golden warmth in the lighter areas. The surface has a small, pebble-like weave that gives the colour gentle depth without a strong directional pattern. It is composed of 51% viscose, 29% wool, 9% cotton, 9% linen and 2% polyamide, and the 135cm approximate width makes it practical for a range of furnishing applications. With a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx, the look is plain and easy to use across larger pieces. Care code Q 8 9 T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Its warm, chalky neutrality suits relaxed contemporary upholstery, especially on rounded seating or cushions where the texture can catch the light. Pair it with oak, plaster white and muted olive for an easy, layered scheme.

A softly textured neutral that works well as tailored upholstery or layered drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
